Culinary Foundation Textbook
Designed and produced covers and layouts for two levels of the National Restaurant Association’s student foundation books that features relevant, real-world content within a framework designed to enable success in the classroom. Photography-rich foundation book required heavy photo retouching, accessing stock photography, creating illustrations, tables, infographics and creating files for print as well as online website. Designed layouts for the Coursebook and ServSafe Manager book.

Created layouts for Grocery Business Cheese Handbook featuring articles on Wisconsin dairy farmers and grocers.
Children’s Textbooks
Following the initial concept created by the publisher’s editorial and design departments, I created hundreds of textbook pages like the ones in this section. I developed and designed templates, master pages, artwork, libraries, styled manuscript, placed and manipulated images, and created layouts, in English, French and Spanish. I also created the “cookbooks” to exacting specifications to keep the look consistent and the workflow efficient.
